Laura began working at the firm in 2007 as an articling student and was admitted to the Alberta bar in 2008. As a member of the litigation department, she has experience in general litigation, family law, dependant adult actions and Aboriginal law.
Laura attended law school at the University of Western Ontario where she obtained her Bachelor of Laws in 2007. She has done extensive travelling throughout the years and spent one semester of law school studying the American legal system in Los Angeles, California.
Laura is from Toronto, Ontario and obtained her Bachelor of Arts with Honours from Queen’s University in 2002. She graduated as a member of the Dean’s Honour List and majored in Psychology.
Prior to attending law school, Laura worked at a market research company where she developed critical analysis and research skills. These skills have proven to be an asset to Laura in her legal career. She is able to assist clients find creative resolutions to their legal problems while maintaining a sensitivity to their needs and concerns.
