A member of our litigation department, Mike has been applying critical thinking to resolving his client’s disputes for nine years. He brings experience from a variety of areas including general litigation, aboriginal and treaty law litigation and family law litigation. His particular interest is in constitutional law.
Mike received a degree in economics from the University of Calgary and a law degree and M.B.A. from the combined LL.B./M.B.A. program at the University of Alberta. He finds that knowledge and experience in a number of disciplines helps him to understand his clients’ priorities and to find creative resolutions to their disputes both in the courtroom and at the negotiating table. His knowledge of business and economics has come in handy in commercial litigation and when negotiating damage settlements.
Mike’s current personal projects include sitting on the Board of the Bragg Creek Early Childhood Services Association.
