Tyler practices primarily litigation. In addition to his legal practice, Tyler has been appointed by the Solicitor General to sit as a member of the Criminal Injuries Review Board, an administrative tribunal.
As well as litigation, Tyler assists clients in development and land use matters before municipal councils, planning commissions, and subdivision and development appeal boards.
Tyler also has extensive experience as a consultant, a campaign manager and a volunteer during elections at federal, provincial and municipal levels. He can assist clients throughout the election process, from navigating election financing legislation to the recount process.
Tyler grew up in Calgary and is very active in the community. He is a Senator of the University of Calgary, a member of the Flames Ambassadors and a volunteer for the Calgary Exhibition and Stampede as a member of the Promotion Committee. Tyler also still volunteers his time to the Student Legal Assistance clinic at the University of Calgary.
Tyler graduated from the University of Calgary and has been admitted to both the Alberta and BC bars.
